We also recycle scraps of upholstery fabric to create our pouches.

We recycle overstock scraps of upholstery fabric to create a pouch to carry and protect our precious creations to maintain our sustainability efforts. Because of this effort, each pouch becomes unique to each garment.

Because your Bae is berber and proud of her mother tongue, all our creations bear a name that means something in Berber langage. 

There are 7 dialects of Berber in Morocco, so we've decided to share with you a few words in the Berber language of Souss, the purest and most widespread.

Here are some examples of Berber words and their meanings:

AYOUR means moon and AMAYOUR means full moon
AMMIM means something sweet, like a candy 
AMOUCH means cat

All of our silk robes are size-inclusive and can fit anyone from XS to XL.

For long robes, you can choose between Petite (<167cm) and Tall (>167cm), depending on your height.

MEASUREMENTS:
The garment length from the collar to the hemline is:
• 150cm for Petite (<167cm)
• 160cm for Tall (>167cm)

For short robes, the garment length from the collar to the hemline is 80cm.

Free delivery worldwide

Estimated delivery times depend of your country of residence.

Delivery window varies between 1 to 3 weeks depending on your country of residence. All our items are sent from Paris, France. We do our best to send your order within 48 hours. International delivery takes 2 to 8 business days. 

You may receive your order a week after you placed it if everything goes well, but we prefer to give a 1 to 3 weeks window just in case there is any delay to manage your expectations.

Delivery packaging & responsibility:

Since silk is a lightweight material, we send our creations in a large, thick envelope by post.

Your order should arrive like a letter in the post. However, for international orders, you are responsible for import duties and taxes applied on your order depending on your country, if that ever happened. If your package has been lost or damaged, please contact the courier which it has been sent. 

Berberbae is not responsible for lost or damaged packages once the order is sent. 

All items can be exchanged, as long as they are returned in their original condition, without having been worn or washed, within 14 days of receiving the order.

We suggest using the original sustainable package that your order came in. If the items are received in poor condition, we won’t be able to carry out the exchange as requested.

How to send back your order?

1. Email us at yourbae@berberbae.com with the details of your order:
-order number
-origin of the shipment (where do you want to send it back from)
-name (and size) of the item you would like to exchange it with.

2. Once the exchange is accepted, you will receive an email with the prepaid return label* and the steps to schedule a pick up or the nearest drop off point.

3. Once a return is received and approved, you will be receiving a coupon with the value of the returned article (excluding the shipping costs) to order the item of your choice on our website.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, they will be deducted from the value of the order before issuing the coupon.

* UNTIL WE RECEIVE AN ITEM, IT REMAINS THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY.

All items can be returned, as long as they are returned in their original condition, without having been worn or washed, within 14 days of receiving the order.

How to send back your order?

- the reason why you need to send it back
- origin of the shipment: where do you want to send it back from (address).
2. Once the return is accepted, you will receive an email with the prepaid return label* and the steps to schedule a pick up or the nearest drop off point.
3. Once a return is received and approved, you will be refunded by the same method you made the payment with, excluding the shipping costs.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, they will be deducted from the value of the order before reimbursement.

We recommend to wash your precious silk items one at a time by hand. Fill your basin with cold water and add a gentle detergent that is free of harsh ingredients.

Place the garment in cool water and let it sit for just a few minutes with your detergent.

Silk releases dirt quickly so the process doesn't take long. Next, drain the soapy mix and rinse with cool, running water.

Never wring out your silk items or toss them in the dryer. To remove excess water, place the wet garment on a cotton towel. Fold the towel over and gently blot. Then, using a hanger, hang the robe over the bathtub to drip dry.

The drying process shouldn't take more than an hour.

We recommend using a steamer on your dry silk garments to gently remove wrinkles, while ensuring that the steaming temperature does not get too hot to avoid damaging your garment.

If you only have an iron, turn your garment inside out while it is still slightly damp, and choose a low setting before pressing gently.

Absolutely, yes. On any page where you are asked to enter your address, phone number or credit card information, we use a secure server through Shopify that keeps your information safe. Just look for the little lock in your browser window. 

Each piece is its own work of art, a very limited edition. 

However, we always try to find the same fabrics we fell in love with, so a garment may be back in stock.

We recommend to email signup to be the first to know when will be our next collection. As soon as we're able to secure a new creation, you will be emailed the moment that the inventory goes live again so you get first dibs!
